What is Movijovem?
Movijovem is the reference body when it comes to promoting youth mobility, actively contributing to value and develop Portugal, in line with the objectives of the National Programme for Territorial Cohesion.
We manage the Youth Hostels, a network of accommodations accessible to all, recognised for its strong quality/price ratio, innovation and dynamism, offering competitive prices encompassed by an activity whose guiding principle is sustainability.
We also promote the European Youth Card, a public policy programme that, in addition to offering advantages, opportunities and benefits, get young people involved in the transformation of the world around them and encourages their personal, social and professional valorisation.
What is our mission?
To promote the mobility of all audiences with a young spirit, providing unique experiences in a network of accommodations distributed across Portugal, Its service, with high standards of quality, hygiene and safety, is guided by values of accessibility and inclusion.
International Cooperation
Movijovem belongs to several national and international organisations, including the EYCA (European Youth Card Association) and the IYHF (International Youth Hostel Federation - Hostelling International), which connect us at a European and global level to all other organisations that promote the European Youth Card programme and manage Youth Hostels.
In this context, regular partnerships and exchanges with international entities and organisations are also established, strengthening cooperation ties and developing joint activities that improve the services available to our users.
