Lousã

Amidst the mountains, Lousã is a perfect destination for lovers of adventure sports such as Mountain Biking, Trail, Climbing and Rappel, among others. Well worth a visit are the Aldeias do Xisto and the river beaches. 

Before leaving, take a brief stroll through the city centre. 500 m from the Hostel, you’ll find the City Hall and the Mother Church nearby. 

Get ready for the adventure. Get a group together and think of a good mountain biking or hiking activity to explore the Lousã mountain. You can go on foot to the Senhora da Piedade River Beach. Nearby, you can also visit the Arouce Castle and the Chapel. 

Manage your time well in the afternoon so you have time to visit a Aldeia do Xisto. You can visit set of five villages, but we recommend choosing one like Talasnal. It's a great place to buy local products like a good jar of honey. 

Back in Lousã and the village centre, you can easily find a good restaurant and a lively bar for your night of lively chit-chat.
