Solidarity Tourism, Voluntary Tourism and Community Tourism are much more than simple concepts, connected in an interesting way. They refer to social dynamics established and with interconnected objectives, goals and missions.
Different and alternative ways of traveling, which imply ‘giving’ a little of yourself in order to ‘receive’ a little from many. A responsible attitude towards others, the community and the environment, dedicating part of the time of the journey to the development of a community, to the fight against social inequalities, to the qualification of its inhabitants or, simply, to take care of the environment.
Follow the steps below:
Start by searching for a project that pleases you or present your own project.
Apply for available spots. To apply for available spots, you will need to fill out the form and wait for our response regarding the availability of accommodation.
If your application has been successfully submitted, you will have to wait for the project manager’s contact, which may take up to 72 hours. The project manager may ask you for additional information to better assess the application or introduce you to alternative period slots.
Confirm your presence and come help! After the project manager’s final contact, which we hope is positive, you will only have to confirm the acceptance of the application pursuant to the terms established between the parties. Take the opportunity to research your chosen region, its people, traditions as well as the problems and challenges you can help overcome.
