MELGAÇO, MOUNTAIN AND ADVENTURE

On the banks of the River Minho, part of the Monte Prado Sports and Leisure Centre, you’ll find the Youth Hostel of Melgaço. It’s located in a small, picturesque and ancient village on the northern end of Portugal, a few kilometres from one of the seven entrances to the enchanting Peneda-Gerês National Park.

Your itinerary must include, as mandatory activities, a walk along the local hiking trails, a visit to the medieval historic centre and to the Alvarinho Manor house, ending with a tasting of cheeses and handmade sausages!

And there's a lot to do: from hiking trails as far as the eye can see or, for the more adventurous, Rafting, Canoeing, Rappel and Slide.

from 12.00 per night
