HI Portimão - Come and discover the city of Portimão, a city by the river and by the sea, waiting for you to live a unique experience!

This project’s main goals are sharing and communion with Nature and the interaction between guests of all ages on the same theme, sustainability and respect for the environment. Based on these 2 premises, a project was created that involves promoting the Hostel’s Community Garden, as well as the knowledge of the entire surrounding green area. It’s intended for all guests to have direct contact at the Hostel and to leave their mark on the Community Garden, planting a fruit tree, a fruit, a vegetable or just an aromatic herb. They will also be able to water and take care of the vegetable garden, improving their meals at the hostel's kitchen, thus also promoting healthier and more natural eating habits. 

On the other hand, and in keeping with sustainability, the project includes afternoons dedicated to different themes, focusing on sustainability and the environment, aimed at children and young people, but also at adults where, in addition to other activities, there will be a workshop in which the animator will reuse used items, giving them a new life and reminding everyone of the need to preserve the environment through the sustainable use of the resources we have. 

This project Nature, Sustainability & Entertainment is developed for and by Hostel guests, whenever possible with the involvement of the local community, aimed at all ages and nationalities, being the guests the reason for being and the great engine for the success of the daily events.
